Bryant Heat Pumps in Deltona & Central Florida

Authorized Bryant dealer — sales, installation, and service

Why a Heat Pump Makes Sense in Central Florida

A heat pump is one system that does both jobs: it cools your home all summer and heats it on the handful of genuinely cold nights Central Florida gets. Because it moves heat rather than burning fuel to create it, it does the heating job on a fraction of the energy a strip-heat system uses.

For our climate that matters more than most places. Your system runs close to year-round here, so the difference between a 16 SEER2 unit and a 23 SEER2 unit is not a rounding error — it shows up on every power bill, every month.

Synergy Heating & Cooling is an authorized Bryant dealer serving Deltona, DeLand, Sanford, Orange City, Lake Mary, DeBary, and Daytona Beach.

Three Bryant Lines, Real Differences

Bryant builds heat pumps at three levels, and the right one depends on your home and your budget — not on what we happen to have on the truck.

Evolution System — the top line. Fully variable-speed compressors that modulate between roughly 20% and 100% capacity instead of just switching on and off. Up to 23.0 SEER2, sound levels as low as 54–55 dBA, and Perfect Humidity technology that Bryant rates at removing up to 400% more moisture than a standard system. In a humid climate that humidity control is often the thing you actually feel.

Preferred Series — the sweet spot for most homes. Two-stage and single-stage models up to 18.5 SEER2, running on low stage most of the time for steadier temperatures and quieter operation.

Legacy Line — straightforward single-stage and variable-speed value models up to 18.8 SEER2 when the priority is a reliable system at the lowest install cost.

Coastal Models for Salt-Air Homes

If you are near the water, ask us about Bryant’s Coastal models — the 248TAN-C and 235SAN-C. Salt air is quietly brutal on outdoor equipment: it corrodes fin material, weakens terminal connections, and shortens the life of contactors and capacitors faster than the same unit would age inland.

We see the difference firsthand on coastal service calls. If your home is in Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, or anywhere the salt reaches, spending a little more on a coastal-rated cabinet is usually cheaper than replacing a corroded coil early.

Puron Advance: The Refrigerant Transition, Handled

Bryant’s newer heat pumps run Puron Advance (R-454B), the low-GWP refrigerant replacing R-410A across the industry. Bryant rates it at roughly a 75% reduction in global warming potential compared to R-410A.

This is not theoretical for us. Our technicians already service R-454B systems in the field — different refrigerant, different pressure targets, and our instruments and training are already there. If you are buying a system today, you want an installer who has actually worked on the refrigerant it ships with.

InteliSense: Fewer Service Calls, Better-Prepared Ones

Bryant’s patent-pending InteliSense technology pairs connected Preferred Series equipment with an ecobee for Bryant smart thermostat. Sensors track things like liquid and suction line pressure and temperature, return and supply air temperature, and blower motor RPM.

What that means for you: we can see how your system is performing without driving out, sometimes resolve an issue remotely, and when a visit is genuinely needed we usually arrive already knowing which part to bring. Fewer trips, shorter downtime, less guesswork.

Warranty and Rebates

Bryant Preferred Series heat pumps carry a 10-year parts limited warranty when you register the system on time — registration must happen within 90 days of installation, or the parts warranty period drops to five years (except where state law prohibits conditioning warranty on registration). We handle the registration paperwork as part of the install so it does not get missed.

ENERGY STAR certified systems may also qualify for local utility rebates. We will tell you what is available at the time of your quote rather than promising a number we cannot control.

Straightforward Pricing and Financing

Free estimates on new installations. No charge to have us size the system properly, look at your ductwork, and put written options in front of you.

Equipment cost depends on the line you choose, the size your home actually needs, and what the existing ductwork and electrical require. We put the options in writing so you can compare rather than guess.

We also offer flexible financing, including prequalification that does not affect your credit. Call 407.412.7188 to get real numbers.

Proper Sizing Is the Whole Ballgame

The most common mistake in Florida heat pump installation is oversizing. An oversized system cools the air quickly, satisfies the thermostat, and shuts off before it has run long enough to pull humidity out. You end up with a house that is cold and clammy, shorter equipment life from constant cycling, and a higher bill.

We size to the home — square footage, insulation, window exposure, ductwork, and how you actually live in it — not by copying whatever number is stamped on the old unit. Getting this right is the difference between a system you never think about and one you fight with for a decade.
